Honda Accord 1987 Cruise Control mal-functioning?

I have 1987 honda Accord. its cruise control is not working. can any body suggest me what to do and what to check, thanksHonda Accord 1987 Cruise Control mal-functioning?
in most cases the main switch for the cruise control either got turned off accidently or the switch has failed.

the main switch is on the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel. It is a 'push-in'; type switch that if you inadvertantly push it in when it is engaged you will turn it off.

the switch should have a green LED on it that illuminates when the ignition key is turned on and the switch is on. there should also be a light on the instrument panel that comes on when the switch is on. if its turned off the cruise won't work.

try to turn the switch on before doing anything else. The chances of the actuator having failed are very remote.

hope that helpsHonda Accord 1987 Cruise Control mal-functioning?
Check for a broken diaphragm inside the cruise servo. It's a big thing (about 3'; diameter) under the hood - the throttle cable is connected to it.
i had that same problem with my 93 accord
